David Hoffmeister

David Hoffmeister is a living example of the teachings of A Course In Miracles & Self realization. He teaches from Enlightened Mind, shining the Love of God wherever he is invited in the world. David lives a simple life of trust and is supported by the Holy Spirit. Thus he never charges any money and never has anything to sell. His gatherings are open discussions and he invites questions and comments from everyone who attends. His websites have a variety of inspiring, enlightening, free resources (ie., Videos & MP3s) along with the most profound Self-realization writings on the planet. David’s global mailing list group, AwakeningInChrist, has hundreds of archived messages written from the Holy Spirit as answers to questions sent in to David from around the world.

David’s teachings and his living example demonstrate the State Of Being & Oneness Jesus called the Kingdom of Heaven. David traveled full-time throughout North America beginning in 1991. During his first 12 years of teaching David met with Course groups and individuals in churches, bookstores, homes, parks, & spiritual centers where he was invited. In 2003 he began traveling to 22 countries on 4 continents (North America, South America, Australia, & Europe). Most of these visits and gatherings were in the United States, Canada, Argentina, & Colombia, though in recent years David has also visited New Zealand, Australia, Sweden, Denmark, the Canary Islands, France, Switzerland, Germany, & Belgium as well. In 2006 David began the first of 4 yearly tours along the East coast of Australia. In February 2007 he spoke at the ACIM Conference in San Francisco, California and thereafter returned to the South Pacific and to central Europe. David returned to the South Pacific & Europe for gatherings in 2008, and in February, 2009 David spoke again at the international ACIM Conference at the Holiday Inn in San Francisco before embarking on travels to Australia & Hawaii. During the Summer of 2009 he was traveling throughout 6 European countries sharing gatherings and retreats on the "Sing Me Awake" tour. During the fall of 2009 he held a week-long retreat in Utah and gave a 4 week Devotional Retreat in Mallorca, Spain. During the winter of 2009-2010 he continued traveling through Europe with gatherings and retreats in Belgium and rural Sweden. During the spring of 2010 he gave two longer retreats in Australia before a retreat in Hawaii with Gary Renard in April 2010. Click here to see current and upcoming events.

Kirsten Buxton

Kirsten Buxton devoted her life to awakening when she realized that the feeling of Home and the experience of eternal Love that she had been longing for were God. Kirsten joined David at the Peace House in 2004, and during the first three years as a Messenger of Peace, she accompanied David on many travels throughout the world. These travels were used as a backdrop for healing and for opening to hearing the Holy Spirit’s Voice. Her open dialogues with the Holy Spirit from these years have been published on the interactive AwakeningInChrist online Yahoo group, and have touched hundreds of hearts around the world. Kirsten offers a simple, honest, and straightforward appreciation of healing through A Course In Miracles. Her path continues to involve traveling, and sharing the message of the Spirit, and she enjoys facilitating music and movement experiences/meditations at gatherings and retreats as a backdrop for healing and experiencing oneness. Jason Warwick

I am very happy to be a part of a team that celebrates the fact that everything is for and of God. I love that it is possible to share one purpose that extends itself as the Holy Spirit directs. I celebrate the fact that our projects, community, and of course attitude can demonstrate this. It is a divine privilege to be a part of this powerful movement called ‘Awakening Mind’. I devote my life to sharing this and letting the word of God be given in a practical and helpful way. Jenny Fagerstedt

Spirit uses Jenny's ability to communicate truthfully without compromise, which facilitates healing when exposing any private and hidden thoughts or beliefs. Her presence and gentleness offers the mind a peaceful resting place to feel God's Love. Jenny handles book publications and is the overseer over Awakening Mind materials in the States as well as internationally.  She is working with translators in different countries that are guided to make Awakening Mind books available on a broad scale. She is available for one-on-ones, counseling, healing-sessions and satsangs. Jenny has traveled in Europe, the South Pacific and in North America sharing gatherings and retreats with the Messengers. Lisa Fair

Lisa started her journey with the Messengers of Peace in 2002. Lisa is a true inspiration through her conviction and dedication to sharing the Joy of God. Everywhere she goes, the world lightens up and no one can resist the freedom and love of Spirit that Lisa represents. Lisa currently resides in Fruitland, Utah and oversees the operations of the Living Miracles Monastery. She is the vice-president of Living Church Ministries, Inc., and also serves on the board of The Foundation for the Awakening Mind as Foundation secretary.

She works very closely with volunteers in directing projects and retreats and, with Holy Spirit's guidance, leading everyone into deep communication. She is a living demonstration of consistent Joy through the healing grace of forgiveness. She truly lives in the miracle. Lisa gently encourages the mind to open, trust, and see the gift and freedom of lifting the darkness to the light and letting it go. Training the mind to listen to Holy Spirit and let go of ego distractions is the only purpose of joining together in community. Together we can truly see what is valuable and valueless with Holy Spirit. When two minds are joined together for the purpose of healing, the ego cannot be maintained:

“Alone they are nothing but in their joining is the Power of God.” ACIM-M.

“Where two or more are gathered there I AM.” The Bible

It truly is a Miracle.

Lisa has been quoted as saying that “Living in the Miracle is not only pHerhossible, it is our inheritance. Let us rejoice and share the Good News. Forgiveness is indeed the key to happiness!”

Helena Sjunnesson

Helena Sjunnesson shares her happy light-heartedness and reverent stillness where ever she goes on world travels. She loves sharing from the Heart, hugging, eye gazing and truly join in Spirit. Her beautiful singing takes you straight to an experience of being in the present moment of Peace and Love. Helena has been using music as a way of watching the mind by seeing the ego's desire to judge the form of good and bad. Her practice has been to go beyond judgment and just accept whatever is, and thereby be in the present moment. This total acceptance has inspired people all around the globe and has helped them to open up in ways they did not dare to before. Helena recorded audio files for an upcoming CD in Sweden. The songs she recorded were received by Resta and Susan McCullen and are very meditative and softly expressed. Suzanne Sullivan

Suzanne has been a seeker of Truth from a very young age. She has traveled the world, served a Mormon mission, studied with shamans, and worked with some of the spiritual leaders of our time. In 1998, she was drawn to leave her city life to go deeper into the healing of her own mind. Out of this healing she founded The Edge retreat center, and during that time she passionately studied A Course in Miracles. She then felt a deep calling to let go of everything and join fully with David Hoffmeister and the Messengers of Peace. As the Course says, "To be in the Kingdom is to focus your full attention on it." She has heard the call and has answered.

The Messengers of Peace live simple devotional lives, hosting retreats and traveling where invited to share practical gatherings that inspire and bless all who seek peace of mind and enlightenment. The Messengers of Peace are dedicated to the complete awakening from the dream of separation, as such they are devoted to experiencing the Peace of God.

Acknowledging that truth is within the Mind, the Messengers of Peace offer an invitation to engage in the intention of uncovering the beliefs that seem to obstruct the awareness of Love’s presence. The wrong mind (ego) is simply a faulty choice. Yet, who chooses the ego unless, unrecognized, it seems to offer something of value? Therefore, unveiling the content of "ego-thinking" and seeing that the ego offers nothing of value is essential to choosing peace. David and the Messengers meet with those who desire to discern between the ego’s thought system and the Holy Spirit’s purpose of forgiveness, so that the decision for the Holy Spirit can be made plain. The purpose of these gatherings remains unchanged – learning the Holy Spirit’s purpose of forgiveness and awakening to the peace, happiness and freedom that is Reality.
