Andy LeCompte

Andy's AA sponsor guided him to A Course in Miracles in 1990. After meeting David Hoffmeister, Andy studied the Teacher of Teachers website and began attending devotional retreats. As a retreatant, Andy is seeking to identify and let go of his ego thinking. He sees this as an ongoing process, supported by his mighty companions. As he lets go of the ego, he feels that Spirit gently leads him to peace of mind. His agonies are fewer and briefer. His joy, on the other hand, is continually growing beyond what he had previously thought possible. Andy sees himself as a happy camper for God.

Anna Carol

After many adventurous, yet painful, years of searching for truth and happiness in the world and trying to bring God into her life, Anna Carol met David Hoffmeister. She could feel deeply that he experiences total joy and peace, and that he speaks and lives the Truth without compromise. She was inspired to make a total commitment to Awakening and serving the Sonship with David and the Messengers of Peace. By questioning her thoughts and beliefs, and being willing to be wrong about them and seeing them as valueless, she is getting in touch with her divine nature and the natural joy that extends out to everyone. She is learning that there is no cause in form, and that only her thoughts cause her pain. Her involvement in editing and transcribing projects with the Messengers of Peace allow her to use some of her skills while undoing the ego. She also enjoys sewing, cooking, cleaning, yard work, and household fix-up projects. Often she soars to Light while listening to music, playing the piano, singing, dancing, meditating, eye gazing, and joining holy companions in conversations about Truth.

Armelle Archbold

Used by the Spirit as a symbol of abundant willingness, trust, spontaneity, and authenticity, it's with a heart overflowing with Joy that Armelle expresses the Love of God! Armelle writes, “When I was a little girl, I use to talk with Jesus every day to share with him all my sorrows and all that I didn't understand. Every Friday evening I was joyfully running to choir rehearsal, and every Sunday morning to church to be the altar girl who got to ring the big bell! This is what this whole path is about for me... returning to this childlike Joy, Playfulness, Innocence, and Purity of Heart and sharing it with others!” After having just started the Course in April 2009, she met David and Helena two months later in her native country of Belgium and dove directly and trustfully into an intense phase of practical application. In August, she attended a three-week devotional in Canada, followed by a visit to the United States, a Holy Spirit-arranged marriage to Erik, and then a year of traveling and sharing gatherings. She passionately extends her Spirit through hug-giving, singing and song-writing, Inner Dance, photography, one-on-one heart joinings and gatherings, and even tasks such as cleaning the bathroom or carrying wood!

Ben Cohen

Due to a deep-seated feeling that everything was “off” or incomplete, Ben has searched for answers his whole life. He wanted desperately to find a manual for life, and would study anything that crossed his path. However, it seemed that there was always a piece of the puzzle missing or a piece that didn’t quite fit. In 2009, while practicing alternative healing modalities in a clinic, one of the owners said to him, "You've read The Disappearance of the Universe, haven't you?" to which he replied, "No." The owner said matter-of-factly, "It's time you did!" It was then that he finally felt he had found what he was looking for the whole time in A Course in Miracles! In February 2010, he prayed for the first time ever after it seemed everything in his life was disappearing. At this time, he had never heard of David Hoffmeister or The Messengers of Peace; however, the Guidance he received from praying was to find a monastery based on ACIM. He thought he was completely crazy, but had nothing to lose and was willing to trust. After a simple Google search, he found out about David and the Messengers of Peace and how they had turned The Edge retreat center into a monastery and used ACIM in their teachings! He knew then that he was not alone and that the Holy Spirit was real! Since that time, he has attended numerous retreats with David and recently stayed at the monastery for four months, where he practiced the mind-training that has led him to more moments of Peace and Happiness than ever before! He is now staying at the Peace House in Ogden, Utah, where the Holy Spirit is using his computer skills in Purpose. This role, as the website overseer for the Church and Foundation, includes maintaining the server that hosts the Mystical Mind Training program and overseeing all technical management and documentation of the web presence.

Charles Owen Baldwin

Charles was guided to move to Salt Lake City to become involved with the Living Miracles Center. With happy laughter, he is the greeter for anyone wanting a chat. He loves Holy Spirit-inspired songs and is deeply immersed in studies of the Messengers of Peace materials, such as Healing in Mind and Awakening Through A Course in Miracles. He is also very fond of uploading David's videos from the tours to various websites.

Christian Hett

Chris has had a call for Truth for many years. Never feeling like he wanted to have a normal life in the world, he studied the lives of the mystic and saints and felt a deep resonance with the direction they lived their lives. In 2008 he was introduced to ACIM and the uncompromising teachings of David Hoffmeister. He deepens in the experience of God’s grace through heading up construction projects as backdrops for mind-training. In his presence, you will experience a deep devotion and willingness to serve the whole.

Erik Archbold

While attending a three-week devotional with the Messengers of Peace in April of 2009, Erik received the Guidance to end his seven-year hypnotherapy career and become a “traveling minstrel for God!” After unwinding himself from his career, he was miraculously able to sell his house at a profit, pay off all of his credit-card debt, and begin trusting fully in Divine Providence to support his new life of traveling wherever invited to share Spirit-inspired music. In October of that same year, he received a phone call from Armelle—whom he’d never met—who told him she had received Guidance that the two of them were to be married only 15 days later and then go on a “sharing love world tour" together! As radical as this Guidance seemed at the time, Erik followed it, intuitively feeling that it was indeed Guidance from the Spirit being offered for the next step in his healing journey. Happily married now and fully devoted to being a living demonstration of Christ‘s Love, Erik enjoys collaborating on music, projects for Living Church Ministries, and going wherever the Spirit Calls!

Frances Allan

For Frances Allan, being a retreatant at the Living Miracles Monastery is the pinnacle experience of many years and experiences with the Divine. Being here is taking the Truth as revealed in A Course in Miracles and bringing it to a living experience with the companionship of others with the same purpose. This is her unique opportunity to allow the mind-training practiced here to undo long-held ego patterns and beliefs. Structured time for devotion, deep sharing, teaching movies, audios, dancing, and joining are the tools she finds here that facilitate the process of removing the obstacles to peace, joy, and happiness. Frances is grateful to be watering the plants, cleaning the bathhouse, washing the dishes, sharing in the cooking, and working on odd jobs as requested. She is most content and joyful.

Jacquelyn Eckert

Jacquelyn’s current status can best be described as a period of transition. She studied A Course in Miracles on and off since the early 1980’s, but after attending a devotional with the Messengers of Peace in September of 2009, she was prompted to give up her position of District Court Judge, end her marriage of eight years (her fourth), and sell her home. The guidance to take these steps was clear (crystal, in fact), but the changes required seemed, at first, enormous. However, she is now happy to report that every aspect of those changes was given, and any pain, suffering, or loss she experienced was in direct proportion to the amount of resistance she was willing to offer. Her judicial position ended in December 2010, and she is relying upon Holy Spirit to guide her to her next assignment. Her greatest lessons have been that we are responsible for everything we see, that a focus on outcomes is misplaced perception, and that the more attentive and obedient to Holy Spirit we are, the happier we are.

Kerri Lake

Kerri Lake has been involved with the Messengers of Peace for many years. She has assisted with various media projects, including serving as a former webmaster for the foundation. In 2007, she built and launched the Teacher of Teachers website with much support from others, and is now assisting with building the new Mystical Mind Training website. She has also been involved in authoring a podcast that features the work and teachings of David Hoffmeister. This podcast can be accessed through iTunes and Podcast.com. Kerri also plays the Native American Flute and has recently recorded a CD called "From the Heart," which is available from her on a donation basis. The CD is a reflection of living a life of following the Spirit, which is simply being open to the moment and allowing the expression of the Spirit to flow without a plan or effort.

Kristopher Everts

Following Guidance is Kristopher’s only goal. As a backdrop for his mind-training and complete undoing, he is joyfully assisting with web-related tasks, joining with mighty companions at the monastery, remaining steadfastly linked to the ACIM workbook lessons, and being uncompromising with past egoic tendencies. He has also stepped into the role of webmaster for the foundation’s websites.

Pam Bahr

Pam is a long-term student of A Course in Miracles, but it was not until she met David Hoffmeister about ten years ago that her understanding of Course concepts really began to deepen and accelerate. A Cincinnati resident, she was a frequent visitor at the Peace House and Light House for many years, which gave her the opportunity to meet brothers and sisters from all around the world. The unconditional love and nonjudgment she received from these Mighty Companions showed her a whole new way of living, for which she had been searching her whole life. She volunteers as an editor for the Messengers of Peace, recognizing that her work is an opportunity to join with others for the sole purpose of healing. The prayer of her heart is to know the Truth of who she is.

Thomas St. Claire

Since an awakening experience in 1990, Thomas has led a life devoted to fully realizing the presence of the indwelling God. He resonates around the understanding that “Thou will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee.” Thomas met David in the early 1990’s, and in 1999 co-founded the Foundation for the Awakening Mind. After a period away, Thomas has joyfully returned to the Foundation to support as the Media Coordinator. The Holy Spirit is clearly using his skills in media production and technology as part of God’s plan of awakening. He is also the technical developer of the Mystical Mind Training program, which is an online learning portal for mind-training. Thomas also finds great delight in being used as a spiritual storyteller, using story as means to extend and share the experience in God’s Love. He channels the humor and laughter of God, with a clear understanding that the gates of Heaven swing wide open to the luscious sounds of laughter.
